Because Miles didn't plan to kill Andi. He invited her out of spite and to insult her (because he's an idiot); then, because he killed her he couldn't either a) stop the delivery in time or more importantly, b) change his instructions and tell the puzzle guy to *not* deliver to Andi which would seem even *more* suspicious. Same with having the package be intercepted: it puts him too close to the scene if he does it himself, or leaves a trail if he has someone do it for him.
To me the interest is in the actors' portrayal of their characters, the comedic timing and all the symbolism woven throughout. I've yet to see someone mention the ouroboros behind Andi in the flashback when watching the news with Miles' and the napkin (the hint that she will be reborn and avenged in Helen) or the fact that Helen's earrings change on the island from inward when she's on the defensive to outward later when she's on the offensive.
Also, I love the possibility that Daryll could be blackmailing Miles just as Miles is blackmailing everyone else. Daryll literally does nothing but let the actor have a cameo and get wasted.
Maybe it has to do with the idea that an underestimated woman gets the best of a man who had every advantage but lacked brains and is then foiled by his narcissistic hubris. That resonates with me nowadays.
(I realise that everyone has moved on from this, but I dearly love it, so thanks to anyone who ends up ever reading this!)
Why does Andi/Helen get an invitation in the first place if Miles killed her. The premise is broken from the get-go.
